If you travel from Hanoi or other destinations. You will travel on the van or bus in the afternoon or night sleeper bus, check-in our hotel in Ha Giang City for the night before starting the adventure on Day 1.
DAY 1: HA GIANG – QUAN BA – YEN MINH – DONG VAN (140 KM) (B,L,D)
Meetup: At our cafe or we pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am, then take the mountain roads to Quan Ba town, you will enjoy the incredible view of the Happy road below.
On the way you can take some photos with the magnificent view of the rice fields, mountains and valleys. In the villages, you can experience the culture and customs of the Red Dao people in Nam Dam Village. There, you will have the opportunity to talk to the local people to learn about their way of life, culture, and customs. We will continue our journey to Yen Minh where we will have lunch. After lunch, we will continue our journey to more distant villages. From there, you will know how people live in more remote parts of Vietnam. We will drive through the villages of Lung Cam, Sa Phin. A stop will be made en route to visit a H’mong Village in Lung Cam, and the residence of the Vuong Family, still called “Palace of Hmong King or Opium King’s place”. After checking in our hotel in Dong Van, dinner will again include lots of happy water if you are of drinking age and wish to partake.
We highly recommend planning your trip to pass through Dong Van on Sunday, when the villagers host their weekly highland market. It’s not only a chance for locals to buy and sell goods and livestock but it’s highly anticipated as a weekly social gathering.
DAY 2: DONG VAN – MA PI LENG PASS – MEO VAC – MAU DUE – DU GIA (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we will go to Ma Pi Leng pass highlight of the trip the most impresive mountain pass in Vietnam. We will trekking in Sky Path to “top views’’ there is pictureques panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass. We’ll stop in Mau Due for lunch. After lunch we will continue drive to Sa Li pass through Lung Ho village. You’ll see many of the minority children playing by the side of the road while their parents are working alongside the rocks. We’ll go to Du Gia the village located in the midle of the rice fields where we stay over night.
DAY 3: DU GIA WATERFALL – LUNG TAM – HA GIANG (B,L)
After breakfast, we will go to hidden waterfall where you can swim before we continue our way to Lung Tam Village. In this village of the H’mong minority, we will learn how to make fabrics from locally grown hemp in Northwest Vietnam. We will have a delicious lunch in one of the local restaurant. After croosing Haven Gate, Pac Sum pass back to Ha Giang. and arrive back in Ha Giang by 4 pm for dropping you off at your hotel.
